General structure of Degree studies
The implementation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), as a result of the Bologna Declaration, has standardised the estructure of university education across Europe, with the following qualifications being awarded:
The official Degree qualifications which can be studied at the ESAB have a duration of 4 years, and focus on engineering in relation to biological systems.
The Degrees which had been implemented in the 2009-2010 academic year are:
The courses offered by the School allow you to approach the study of biological systems from an engineering perspective. Within the curriculum, you have the opportunity to undertake a work placement, an activity that facilitates both direct contact with the profession, and ensures a high level of post-qualification employment. Once you are qualified, and before entering the job market, you now also have the opportunity to participate in mobility programmes with different EU countries (Socrates - Erasmus) or other universities throughout Spain (the SICUE programme) and participate in International Cooperation for Development projects in which ESAB plays a very active role.
