Food processing and Biotechnologic Engineering Department (EAB)

The Food Processing and Biotechnologic Engineering Department (DEAB) only teaches in the ESAB. Located, actually, in the same building than ESAB's. Their members also develop, then, research mainly focused on the four groups of research, among others:


  • Agro-environmental Engineery - GREA
  • Vegetal Protection - POCIO
  • Vegetal improvement for Organoleptic Characteristics - MVCO
  • Aquaculture and Quality of aquatic products - AQUAL


Beside those research groups, there are teachers assigned to DEAB who develop their own research with the collaboration of other departments and/or universities. You can check the whole of the expert areas in which the ESAB research is developed: Technologic Transfer.
